Graduate Student Awards

The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology has several awards that recognize graduate students for outstanding performance.

The Dr. Johanna Maas Chemistry Teaching Assistant Award is given to a graduate student who displays exceptional performance as a teaching assistant, and is given in recognition of the important role graduate teaching assistants play in our undergraduate educational program.

The W. H. Bauer Doctoral Prize in Chemistry is given upon graduation to a Ph.D. student who has an excellent graduate record and has presented a thesis of exceptional merit.

The Dr. Andrew N. Dasheff '89 Memorial Fellowship is given to a graduate student in Polymer Chemistry who shows outstanding performance and promise in research in that field of study.
